Larry and Houston were high school friends in Virginia who lost touch for years — Larry chasing blues gigs around Texas, Houston out on the road through Europe under the name Saint, bouncing between Brussels, London, France, and the Isles of Scilly. They reconnected online almost by accident and spent the next three years trading songs and ideas across the Atlantic. Along the way Houston lost almost everything to addiction — and when the darkest hour came, Larry showed up. Houston got clean, moved out to Larry's place in Round Mountain, TX, and the two of them made it official.
